Hotel Barcelona Late Check-Out DLC launches May 21, with Switch and Switch 2 versions announced

Hotel Barcelona is getting both more content and more platforms. White Owls has announced that the Late Check-Out DLC will launch on May 21 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, while Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions of the base game and DLC are now in development.

Hotel Barcelona is the 2.5D roguelite action horror project from Hidetaka Swery Suehiro and Goichi Suda Suda51, mixing slasher cinema, surreal dream logic and mechanically strange action. The new DLC is not being framed as a side story. It continues the descent with two new environments, bosses, enemies and narrative material, building on the game's Under New Management overhaul.

That matters because Hotel Barcelona had a rocky first impression before being significantly reworked earlier this year. Bringing the improved version plus DLC to Nintendo hardware gives it a second chance with a new audience. At $34.99 on Nintendo platforms, it could become one of the stranger horror-action options in the Switch 2 library.
