LEGO 2K Drive leaves digital storefronts today
LEGO 2K Drive reaches its digital delisting date today. Store listings previously warned that the game would no longer be available for purchase as of May 19, 2026, exactly three years after its original launch. Existing owners should still be able to redownload and play offline content, while multiplayer servers are scheduled to remain online until May 31, 2027.
After that, online-dependent functions will stop working. This is another reminder of how fragile licensed games can be. LEGO 2K Drive was not a perfect open-world racer, but it had a strong building hook, colorful worlds and a playful driving structure that separated it from more serious racing games.
Delistings like this are frustrating because they can erase ordinary access to games that may later become interesting to collectors, families or preservation-minded players. Anyone who already owns it should be fine for now, but new digital buyers have missed the window unless physical copies remain available at retail or second-hand.
