Kabuto Park heads to Nintendo Switch on May 28

Kabuto Park is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 28, and it sounds like a very natural fit for the platform. Developed by Doot and published by Seaven Studio, the game is a cozy bug-collecting adventure about spending a month as Hana, a child on summer vacation.

Players catch bugs, level them up, choose teams carefully and battle other kids to become the Summer Beetle Battles champion. The Switch version adds Joy-Con gyroscope support, letting players wave the controller like an insect-catching net. That is exactly the kind of small physical interaction that can make a simple cozy game feel more charming on Nintendo hardware.

Kabuto Park is also coming to Game Pass on the same date for Xbox and PC players, so the Switch version has to make its portability and motion controls count. The appeal is less about huge stakes and more about the familiar childhood fantasy of summer days, collecting creatures and turning small discoveries into big personal victories.
