Kusan: City of Wolves launches July 30 across console and PC

Kusan: City of Wolves now has a release date. PQube and CIRCLEfromDOT will launch the fast-paced top-down shooter on July 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. A demo is already available for PS5, Xbox Series and PC, with a Switch demo coming soon.

The game is set in a hyper-violent neon-noir underworld where Jin fights to save a girl at the center of a conspiracy consuming the city. Combat is built around tight arenas, gunfire, Quantum Blade strikes, parries and split-second movement. That gives it an easy pitch: Hotline Miami energy with more precision, cyberpunk style and close-quarters brutality.

The key will be whether every encounter rewards creativity without becoming unreadable chaos. Top-down shooters live or die on rhythm, enemy placement and the feeling that the player barely survived because of skill, not luck. If Kusan nails that combat loop, it could become a sharp July indie action pick.
