Mirth Island announced as a cozy rhythm adventure for consoles and PC

SOEDESCO and Clay Game Studio have announced Mirth Island for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game is described as a cozy rhythm adventure about perseverance and small acts of kindness.

Players control Dodo, a young duck who returns home after his acting dreams collapse, only to find the legendary theater that inspired him falling apart. That setup gives the game a clear emotional angle: failed ambition, returning home, rebuilding confidence and finding joy through community.

The rhythm-adventure label is also interesting because cozy games often lean on farming, decoration or cafe management, while Mirth Island seems to use music and performance as its core. If the rhythm mechanics connect directly to helping characters and restoring the theater, this could stand apart from the growing pile of cute but mechanically familiar cozy games. It is due in 2026, so there is still plenty to learn, but the premise is warm, readable and easy to market.
