Phantom Blade Zero slips to October 29 for final polish

Phantom Blade Zero has been delayed to October 29, with S-GAME saying it wants more time to polish the areas that matter most. That is disappointing for players who already had September blocked out for stylish sword violence, but a delay like this can be sensible if the game actually benefits from it. Phantom Blade Zero has built its reputation on speed, precision, atmosphere and martial-arts spectacle. Those are exactly the things that fall apart if animation timing, enemy reactions or performance are even slightly off. The studio also confirmed pre-orders will open this summer, with a deeper gameplay and story breakdown coming later. A 50-day delay is not enormous, but it gives S-GAME one last chance to make day one feel sharp.
