Until Dawn 2 is coming in 2027 with a new cast

Until Dawn 2 is finally happening, which is impressive considering the original basically helped turn Supermassive into the “bad decisions in spooky places” studio. This sequel is coming in 2027, but it is not simply dragging the old cast back for another night of terrible choices. Instead, it is a standalone experience with a new group, a new nightmare and at least one returning connection for fans to obsess over. That is probably the right call. Until Dawn worked because it felt like an interactive horror movie with enough teenage chaos and consequence to keep players shouting at the screen. Repeating the same trick too directly would feel stale. A new cast gives the sequel room to scare, surprise and ruin friendships on fresh terms.
