Stuntman: Hollywood brings stunt-driving chaos back

Stuntman: Hollywood was one of the more unexpected State of Play reveals, and it is exactly the kind of concept that sounds obvious once it appears again. Instead of simply racing to a finish line, the game is built around performing movie stunts, hitting marks, surviving ridiculous setups and turning vehicular disaster into entertainment. That is a great hook because stunt driving is basically racing with consequences, choreography and a director yelling at you from somewhere expensive. The original Stuntman games had a cult following because they made failure hilarious and precision stressful. If Hollywood can modernize that structure with better handling, cleaner checkpointing and bigger set pieces, this revival could become more than nostalgia. It could be a genuinely fresh arcade driving lane.
