The Lost Wild resurfaces with PS5 and PC plans

The Lost Wild returned during State of Play, and the good news is that the dinosaur survival game still looks deeply stressful. Annapurna and Great Ape Games are bringing it to PS5 and PC, with a new trailer reminding everyone that realistic dinosaurs are much scarier when you are not controlling one. The hook remains strong: you are not a superhero, soldier or monster hunter. You are a person trying to survive intelligent prehistoric threats by observing, hiding and using the environment. That gives The Lost Wild a very different energy from standard survival action. It is less “shoot the dinosaur” and more “please do not let the dinosaur notice I made eye contact.” If the AI and tension work, this could be one of 2027’s most interesting horror-adjacent releases.
